I love this story and I love Eunice. That has only happened to me once, where someone said something like that to me--and I was pumping gas in my car and had just found a job and think I was emanating happiness.

I like that maybe you're flying again. And I love your doll.

Hy Ybs - Eunice is Eunique alright. I don't know if the man could see auras or if I'm intrinsically good or even gooder (Eunice's phrase) than some others. But when Mrs. BC was so floored at the encounter, I was surprised. Doesn't that just happen sometimes to everyone? Surely it does -- maybe we don't write it down and then we forget about it? I would love to hear from other people on that -- who last gave you an unsolicited affirmation of self -- when? - where? someone you love? or a stranger?

I remember Eunice F., although I never knew that she lived such a hard life. Delightful picture of her!

Your story of the little man and his comment is quite amazing. He must be able to see auras or maybe just know the goodness of someone inside, intrinsic. Such a contrast to many other types of encounters, someone flipping off someone else or otherwise frowning, grimacing, raging.
