You are right about the “creative” fiction. I’ve occasionally contemplated writing a “semi-fictional autobiography” and then going on Oprah to say hey it’s true enough, innit?

Lots going on with the bosque chicas and familia. A week off spent gardening sounds wonderful.

Oh, I did want to say, you can stress the “creative” in creative non-fiction if you’re worried about the precision of your facts. Memories are like that — not prone to fact-checking. I use my older sisters as fact checkers for me, but they’re working off of memory, too.
